MILLERS VANGUARD RECRUITMENT BROCHURE DESIGN
I recently finished a recruitment design project for Millers Vanguard including graphic design and arts direction of brochures, mailers and event design. Here’s quick look at the brochure design.
BIRTLE BROOK BROCHURE DESIGN
I’ve just finished a new brochure design for Birtle Brook Village in Bury. I’ve worked with them over the last few months on the photography art direction, creative concepts, design and artwork for a new marketing brochure. The large format brochure was printed on GF Smith uncoated stock with a spot UV and embossed front cover. They’re planning on launching the next phase of the bespoke development over the next few months so the website and advertising campaign will follow!
I recently completed a new website for St.Helens based Fire Protection Specialists. They were looking for a complete overhaul to their image so I started off by art directing a fantastic photoshoot with Phil Tragen. I then designed and built them a brand new site which has just gone live.
MCDOWALL MEDIA CORPORATE REBRAND AND LOGO DESIGN
I’ve recently completed a great rebrand project with London based data specialists, Mcdowall. I worked closely with them to develop and design a new corporate logo and primary sub-brand logos which reiterate their core values of client acquisition and integration.
MILLERS VANGUARD WEBSITE
I am proud to announce the launch of the new Millers Vanguard Website which I’ve been working on for a while. I worked closely with the client and Liquid Liverpool to design and create a fantastic new site for them. It’s a fully responsive site and runs off a bespoke content management system. The site also has a great parallax scrolling introduction animation as well as a unique client login / data share section. I did all the creative direction, design and artwork and Liquid brought it all together to produce a stunning site. Have a quick look here. I’ve recently been involved in the design and branding for a fantastic new deal card which has just launched in Greater Manchester – Ballooncard.co.uk. I’ve been working with Ballooncard to design and develop their branding, marketing material, internal graphics and website ready for their launch.
MILLERS VANGUARD PROPOSAL DOCUMENT DESIGN
I’ve just finished a fantastic design project for catering engineering specialists, Miller’s Vanguard. I’ve worked closely with them to art direct, design, artwork and produce a proposal document for a major supermarket. They wanted the look and design to reflect their engineering heritage so bespoke aluminium folders where commissioned.
Net-Work – Logo And Brand Design
Net-Work is a new service from recruitment specialists RCC Associates offering employment advice for professionals looking for work. I worked closely with them to design a vibrant and professional corporate identity, mini brochure and posters to be rolled out nationally in Job centres. We’re currently working on the new site so look out for it soon.
Mr Twister – Logo and Brand Design
Mr Twister is an innovative new fast-food product that will soon be launching nationally. I was approached to design a vibrant, eye-cathcing identity for their launch in the next few months!
Emplacement People – Corporate Brochure
I’ve just finished working on the design and artwork for the new Emplacement People Corporate Brochure and Insert Designs. The Brochure and Inserts needed to be adaptable to get across the range of services they offer across their group, so we decided upon 4 sector-specific inserts and a large, 6 page, A4 Oversize Roll Fold folder design.
I Love Christian Music Magazine – Design & Art Direction
I’ve worked on creative direction, design and artwork for a brand new magazine – I Love Christian Music. The client had been running a large internet site for a few years and got in touch as they wanted to publish a magazine for national distribution. It was a really good opportunity to create and design a full magazine from the ground up!
Catweazle – The Movie
I’ve just finished working with movie producers, The Ettinger Brothers, on the fantastic funding document design for Catweazle The Movie! The Ettingers have been working closely with the writer of the original 1970′s TV series on a big-budget movie project and asked me to get involved to help them with the creative, design and artwork for their EIS funding document. Look out for it in the near future on a big screen near you!!!!
I’ve been working with the 321 Cash people now for a few months to develop their brand, website and advertising and it’s finally launched! The new websitewent live the other day and the ads are now being rolled out across various sources of media. Look out for him near you and click here if you’re a bit short this month!

Just finished a really nice project for the recruitment specialists, Emplacement. They needed a professional but friendly report designing to highlight an awareness campaign of unemployment and the over 50′s.
I developed a striking, approachable and positive identity to help get across the positive implications of this impressive, green development.
Website, brochure and event display stands were produced but my particular favourite was the online animation video I created to help explain what the DEW project involved and the benefits it would have to the local community.
I lead the creative team that won the Marshall Ward account a few years whilst at USP. We produced a range of DM and Online items for the launch of the new Autumn season from initial concepts through to the full campaign role out.
B2 Group needed a professional yet forward looking identity to help in their launch of several innovative B2B marketing solutions.
The project included brand launch, website, sales collateral and production of an information memorandum encompassing highly detailed information about the company.
I successfully pitched for and won the Langtree account whilst Creative Director at USP Creative in Liverpool. The work grew to entail annual reports, exhibition design, tender submissions and even the development of the Festival Gardens brand.
Golojo.com is an online reverse auction procurement site! I worked closely with the marketing director to develop a friendly and striking brand. As part of the launch campaign I scripted, shot and edited a viral video in the style of “Mr Chumley Warner” to get across the inherent complex / boring nature of the service! Click here to see it!
This was a striking staff and customer awareness campaign I designed for Arriva Trains. The idea was to tackle multiple issues in a visually striking way and was well received by the client, its staff and the commuters.
Kings Business Transfer
Kings Business Transfer, one of the leading business transfer agents in the north west approached us with a re-brand, the existing branding was starting to look dated and they wanted a fresh new look which would illustrate their trusted and professional yet unique approach.
The striking new identity is professional using a serif font, yet modern and individual in the choice of colour and treatment of the chess piece. The marketing team were delighted with my presentation and are rolling out the chosen identity over the coming weeks.
The above work for the NWDA was done whilst at Kaleidoscope in LIverpool and encompassed the regional strategy report and multiple tenders and submission documents.
Andrew Flintoff Foundation
I worked closely with Andrew and Rachael Flintoff to develop the branding for their childrens foundation. The project included branding, digital and a video for a DVD.
I pitched for and won the LBM account whilst Creative Director at USP Creative. Over the years we produced a multitude of creative work including: Exhibitions, Live Events, Direct Mail, Corporate Communications and Digital Work.

The Business Energy Company are a utility broker who can help businesses save money on their utility bills. They needed an identity and website which would quickly convey their proposition to busy business owners.

The SME Hub
The SME Hub is a brand new membership networking community designed especially for the SME marketplace. A parent brand and product family were required which would resonate with the SME community.
The iconography is visually strong and instantly recognisable as part of the SME suite of products and offerings.
Bis-kits, a cottage industry business which produce handmade, ready-to-bake biscuit dough came to me needing an identity, website, packaging, photography and a general helping hand in getting their new biscuit concept launched.
One of the UK’s leading business transfer agents wanted to unify their existing group of sector and regional based business transfer companies in order to communicate their vast experience and knowledge across the business transfer market.
Altius was created to reflect their boutique approach to business; personal and tailored to the individual needs of each client. The new brand is stylish and modern whilst maintaining an air of professionalism and stature.
