MRWA Zero Waste Strategy 2025

The Zero Waste Strategy for Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority (MRWA) presents a bold, future-focused vision for cutting waste and reducing carbon emissions across the Liverpool City Region. Recognising the global impact of wasted resources on climate change, the Strategy outlines both the responsibility and the opportunity to rethink how materials are used and valued.

As the designer for this publication, I crafted a clear, engaging, and accessible document that helps communicate MRWA’s ambitious goals. Through thoughtful layout, typography, and visual storytelling, the design supports the Strategy’s message.

Developed in collaboration with partners, residents, and stakeholders, the Strategy maps out a pathway toward a low-carbon, circular economy, and contributes to the region’s wider zero waste and net-zero carbon ambitions. Its purpose is not only to inform, but to inspire—encouraging others to join the journey toward a more sustainable future.
